“Deciding what not to do is as important as deciding what to do.”
– Steve Jobs
If I asked you how you’re going to achieve your goals, you’d tell me the steps.
The things you’re doing.
You wouldn’t tell me the things you’re not doing.
And yet what you don’t do is important.
What you STOP doing to achieve a goal is just as important as what you START doing.
Just as some actions create the progress you want, others hinder it — often unbeknownst to us.
If you’re not achieving your goals… and you’re doing all the right stuff… then you’re probably being blocked by something you haven’t given up.
Sometimes it’s more about removing our hindrances than it is about adding to our activities.
